WordPress Web Development in Brittany
I build, rebuild and look after WordPress websites for small businesses, gîtes and B&Bs, festivals, associations and musicians, in Brittany and further afield. Every site is built with Divi 5, kept fast and secure, and set up so you can edit your own text and photos without any technical knowledge.
What I can do for you
- New websites for businesses, artisans and freelancers
- Bilingual English/French sites for gîtes and chambres d’hôtes
- Redesigning and modernising an existing site
- Speed optimisation and local SEO, so customers in your area can find you on Google
- Ongoing WordPress maintenance: updates, backups and security
- GDPR compliance: privacy policy and cookie banner
How it works
We start with a conversation about your business and what the site needs to do. I then send a clear quote, build the site and show you progress along the way so you can adjust the text, photos and layout. Once it’s live, I submit it to Google and show you how to manage it, and I can keep it updated and backed up afterwards.
Working with English-speaking clients in France
Many of my clients are British or international businesses based in France. I work in English and French, so I can build a site that speaks to both audiences and handle the French-side details such as cookie consent and legal pages.
Let’s talk about your project
Need a new website, a redesign or someone to look after the site you already have? Tell me about your project and I’ll get back to you quickly.
Fest Jazz is a premier jazz festival in central Brittany, France, drawing 3,000 attendees annually.
Three years ago, Black Mountain Studio took over the site’s development, initially working within the Elementor ecosystem. We recently completed a full-scale rebuild of the platform using Divi 5. This transition to Divi 5—which has been rebuilt from the ground up—has provided significant performance gains and unlocked powerful new features for the festival.
Stang Korvenn is a Gîte and B&B business located in the heart of Brittany, France. Originally a static site, the site was migrated to the WordPress platform to give the owner full control over their seasonal pricing, availability, and media.
Following a change in ownership, the site has been revitalized and remains a thriving digital presence for the new owners.
The site’s infrastructure has recently been upgraded from Divi 4 to the latest Divi 5 framework, significantly improving loading speeds and backend performance to ensure a seamless experience for both the administrators and their guests.
Black Mountain Studio welcomes Acorn Consultancy to our client portfolio
Acorn Consultancy is a specialist metalwork consultancy based in th UK, providing expert guidance and project consulting for bespoke and industrial metal fabrication work.
The site has just been completed and is now live..
Built on the Divi 5 framework from the outset, the site is structured to scale smoothly as new pages, portfolio content, and service details are added — giving a solid, high-performance foundation from day one.
Two Italian-based community websites, Associazione In Touch and Impara Ad Ascoltarti, were struggling with the limitations of a legacy page builder (Bakery Builder). The sites were heavy, difficult to maintain, and didn't offer the seamless, high-performance experience the community deserved.
The sites were made originally with Divi 4, but have now benn rebuilt with the new Divi 5 framework, which has given the sites a new lease of life.
Both sites support the work of Prem Rawat.
Prem Rawat is an internationally recognized educator and Ambassador of Peace who has spent over 50 years sharing a practical message:
Peace is not a global abstraction, but a fundamental human need that begins within.
Black Mountain Studio was commissioned to redesign and rebuild the Peter John Butler website.
The legacy site relied on an outdated WordPress theme that was no longer supported, leading to critical functionality issues. We transitioned the site to a high-performance architecture powered by the latest version of WordPress & the Divi Theme & Page Builder
Black Mountain Studio now manages all ongoing maintenance and updates, ensuring the site remains secure, stable, and fully optimized for the latest web standards.
