One of our favourite examples of this process is our work with Andrew Dyke a singer/songwriter on “Born To The Blues.” He came with all the songs in their rawest form — just acoustic guitar and vocal, recorded in one take, and then left them with us.

A full arrangement was built around that foundation — electric and acoustic guitar, mandolin, and production to fill out the sound. Once the arrangement was ready, he came back in and re-recorded his vocal over the top of what had been built....(in memory of Andrew Dyke)
